Those not anxious to test their mettle can opt for the adjacent green which is surrounded by terra firma. However, slicers will still have to take care to avoid an unfortunate splash-down.
Craig Woods Golf Course plays to a par-34 and 2,290 yards from the back tees.

One of the best nine-hole courses anywhere. Every hole is different. The island green par-3 number 3 hole is one of the toughest holes in Chicagoland. Number 5 is my favorite. Par 3 170 yards. Giant trees hug both sides. Number 7 is a blast. No houses anywhere.
